Train Lift Center (Stackable)

Discord: https://discord.gg/nT4zvAYtSu 5x5 Drive through bottom for the Train Lift Set. Center needs to be aligned with the cross air from the bottom. Important: reconnect the rails from the two blueprints as they won't connect automatically. There are some markers

It is a very pretty rail lift though, I love the look of it

I think this would be better as a gentler spiral rather than the double helix. One way in, one way out. Then if you need it for a bidirectional rail you can just build a second one. That way you also avoid the awkwardness where the up rail and the down rail have enterenaces and exits on the opoosite side to each other which is currently annoying as you have to make little turnaround rails

After using it on my not even very busy network I'm regretting it unfortunately. It's too steep, you can't make this too high or trains stop and get stuck, and you have to use path signals the whole way up or down because again, you need to make sure there's space at the bottom and top because trains going up will get stuck if they stop, and trains going down malfunction if there's a path signal even 20m away from the bottom because they have no way to slow down enough to stop at it if they're unable to reserve the path, so you have to path signal down the whole way

Answer: "too sharply when connecting" Yes, version 1.0 can be picky with the rail snapping logic on sharp turns. Here’s how to handle it: 1. Delete the auto-snapped rail segment that fails. 2. Manually reconnect the curved rail using the hover tool. 3. No foundations needed—do not force spacing. The design exploits the maximum legal rail curvature, so snapping sometimes glitches. In version 1.1 this becomes smoother with improved rail handling.

Answer: “Extra Layer of Windows” Yes, the window layers are included by default. You’re supposed to remove the window panels where you want to connect your tracks—unless you enjoy watching trains try to phase through matter.

Sorry for the late answer, seems that I don't get notified when new comments arrive. But the rating matched my eye.

Oh, extra layer on the bottom too? The trains have to drive through the windows to get in haha

Seem to have an extra layer of windows on top for some reason, they aren't flush with the central pole

Hello again, sorry for the comment above - I am just dumb lol

Hi, I am wondering how i should correctly connect the parts of the elevator - my game states that the track turns too sharply when connecting them with 1 - 3 4m foundations of spacing. I am on the stable 1.0 Build and playing on a server I am hosting myself
